So I really need to finish babyproofing the house. We've done the preliminaries so far. Outlets and cabnits we don't want him in. His newest obsession is the warming drawer of the oven. Usually he just slides it open and closed but this time he decided to get in!
So as soon as we get back from the beach , it's off to BRU to get appliance babyproofers and drawer latches.

We went to the beach for the 4th of July weekend to visit Sarah as she is recovering from surgery. We had a great time. I drove down Thursday night after work with Bobby and Jacob flew down after work on Friday. Friday, Sarah, Larry, Bobby and I all headed down to the beach. It was hot and there were a lot of waves so there wasn't much water time which meant that we didn't stay that long. Larry and I went and picked up some swordfish steaks while Bobby napped and then Larry went and picked up Jacob from the airport. We grilled out and after we ate (and B went to bed) we hung out and listened to a lot of Phish. Larry must have every live show.

The next day, we got up , had breakfast, and napped most of the day. Finally, around 3:00, we rallied it togeher and went back to the beach. We went to the bay side this time which has less waves and we were able to get B in the water with out too much fuss. He throughly enjoyed eating the sand.

On our way home we stopped at Joe Pattie's and picked up 4 lobsters for dinner. Bobby made friends with them on the kitchen floor before we put him in bed. After dinner, we played Apples to Apples, where I spanked everyone. Finally, I played that game well. I usually do terribly.

We headed home around 10 the next day and it took us a solid 7 hours to get home due to repeated stops for Bobby.

It was a great weekend, relaxing and full of good food and laughter with great friends.
